张国榉，1936 年10月生，四川营山县人，研究员，博士生导师,著名凿岩工程专家，我国凿岩工程主要学科带头人之一。1960 年毕业于北京地质学院，主修探矿工程。现任中国地质大学(武汉)掘进工程研究所所长，兼任中国岩石力学与工程学会岩石破碎工程专业委员会副主任委员，中国金属学会特殊钢分会钎钢钎具学术委员会学科带头人，中国钢结构协会常务理事、钎钢钎具协会副理事长，湖北嘉裕钎具股份有限公司首席科学家。以张国榉为首的科研集体，已完成18项国家和省部级科研成果，发表论文200余篇，出版了《岩石可钻性指数》、《凿岩钎具的设计、制造和选用》、《中国冲击凿岩技术暨钎钢钎具工业的现代化发展》等专(译)著8部。解决了困扰国内外凿岩钎具界的诸多难题，实现了大瑶山隧道、三峡工程等国家重点工程进口钎具国产化，为我国钎钢钎具工业现代化作出了重要贡献。先后获得国家经委技术开发重大贡献奖(1984)、地矿部科技成果一等奖(1985). 国家星火二等奖(1991). 国家科技进步三等奖(1985, 1998)、国家发明三等奖(1997)等多项科技奖励。1980 年、1985 年两次被评为地矿部劳动模范，1986 年被评为“国家有突出贡献的中青年专家”，1987年被评为“全国优秀教育工作者”，获全国五一劳动奖章。1991 年获“全国高等学校先进科技工作者”称号，享受国务院特殊津贴。2003 年被评为武汉地区首届十大专利发明者。2013年被授予“中国时代改革创新行业最具影响力人物”荣誉称号。同时在国家主流媒体发表了有关科技、文化、教育和经济发展的社科文献多篇，业余出版了诗词、格言、书法和摄影作品，荣获“国家书画艺术发展奖”等多项国学和艺术类成就大奖，现任中国国学研究会.中国国家诗书画院高级研究员，中国诗书画联盟网名誉主席。
