Chang Shujie, a native of Yangtougang Village, Chengguan, Fangshan, Beijing, was born in 1948. He was fond of painting landscapes. His works were personally guided by Lin Kai (Chinese painting) and Zhang Zuying (oil painting). He is now the vice president of the Chinese Academy of Foreign Relations (National Rites), the Chinese Academy of Foreign Relations (National Rites), and the researcher, first-

class and senior artist, director and executive director of many art institutions. In 1974, he participated in the New Year picture creation of the art study class of the revolutionary leading group of the propaganda station in Fangshan County, Beijing. On October 15, 1995, the Sino-Japanese friendship activity was initiated by the professor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, the director of the Research Department of the Chinese Art Museum, and the chief editor of Chinese calligraphy and painting.        常书杰，北京市房山城关羊头岗村人，出生于1948年，酷爱油画山水，作品曾得到（国画）林楷、（油画）张祖英老师亲临指导，現任：华夏邦交（国礼）研究院邦交国礼书画院副院长，多家藝術機構研究員、一級、高級美術師、理事、常務理事。1974年参加北京市房山县，宣传站革命领导小组美术学习班年画创作。1995年10月15日，由中央美术学院教授、中国美术馆研究部主任、中国书画主编等发起中日友好活动，两幅山水油画，日本村上美术馆收藏。2001年12月参加由中国文联等单位联合主办的，二十一世纪首届中国书画艺术精品大展油画《家乡》荣获银奖。中國文聯等單位舉辦中國奥林匹克書畫藝術競賽，二十一世紀首届書畫精品大展獲銀獎。2002年多幅作品入選《中國寫生作品集》被評為優秀藝術家。2003年多幅入選北京盛世軒書畫研究院《中華書畫寶典》獲銀獎。2004年人民日報市場信息中心藝術名家“金杯”獎獲特别金獎。2004年入編新華社《了望周刊》海外專刊大型藝術形象宣傳特輯中華脊梁--共和國文化藝術家風采。入編文化部《中華名人大典》，由中國國際交流出版社陸社長特别提名推薦的世界華人交流協會《世界名人録》。李鵬等黨和國家領導題詞《中國專家名人詞典》、中共中央黨校主編《市縣領導月刊》、中央文獻研究室，中共黨史人物研究會等編輯《歷史回眸》、《共和国改革精英》及《易学名师录》、入編中華人民共和國國史學會大型系列畫册《當代中國人中國當代創新人才》、《中华百家姓氏通鉴》。人民日報市場信息中心、中國文聯--中國藝術報、今日中國書畫、京郊日報等刊登發表。2004年5月荣获人民日报市场信息中心举办的《全国艺术名家金杯奖》特别金奖。2004年由中國新聞文化促進會、時代前沿文化發展中心特邀于6月27日-7月1日于人民大會堂國務院二招、參加召開“輝煌的時代”--中國杰出創業人才座談會。

       80年代初，一直堅持與大山為伴，師法自然研究用油畫色彩及中國畫筆法創作寫生為重任，多副作品被國内國際友人及美術馆购买收藏。2005年1月参加中华人民共和国文化部、中国美协、书协、中国美术馆、中国美术学院、北京画院、于中国军事博物馆举办的《中华书画名家作品十城市巡回展》。2005年5月18日参加中央人民广播电台经济之声，睌七点播出的《访一代大师常书杰》。10月作品入选中国书画收藏家协会编、文物出版社出版《华夏文博览胜--中国名家书画收藏》（第286页）。2007年油画《深峽探源》入编中国书画收藏家协会，编辑《书画作品收藏指南》（22页）。同年参加荣宝斋特约画家作品展，《家乡》入编艺研《中国艺术》。2011年8月油画《万里山河》入编《邦交国礼内参》、2012年暑假华夏邦交研究院主办小记者访问澳大利亚驻华大使馆，赠送大使作品《祖国山河》。2015年12月赠送泰国皇室亲王素博巴莫亲王，及公主作品《家乡初雪》。2016年4月作品《迎客松》由中共中央党校出版社收藏、2018年1月参加塞拉利昂共合国驻华大使馆《迎春年会》，爱丽丝莫莫大使转赠前总统常书杰油画作品《非洲风光》。
