Jiang Kaifa, born in Hangzhou in 1961, is a stubborn cow with the Chinese character of "upstream". His ancestral home is Shaoxing. In 1997, he received a master's degree from the School of Art of National Qiyu University of Japan, and in 2008, he received a doctor's degree in Chinese painting from the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts. His landscape doctoral advisor was Professor Zhuo Hejun, and his theory doctoral advisor was Professor Ren Daobin. He won the first prize for his doctoral work "Misty Mist of Xixi". He is now a professor in the School of Art of China Metrology University and a distinguished teacher of Chinese painting in the Adult Academy of China Academy of Fine Arts.

He studied painting with his father when he was 6 years old. At the age of 9, he was enlightened by Mr. Qian Dali, the fifth year old nephew of Qian Shoutie, a great master of gold and stone. Later, he learned from Mr. Kong Zhongqi, a professor of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts and a famous master of Yunshui, and was personally taught and instructed by Xiao Feng, Wu Shanming, Tong Zhongtao, Lu Kunfeng, Zhou Cangmi, Min Xuelin and other professors of the Chinese Academy of Fine Arts.

Dr. Jiang Kaifa is a specially appointed senior painter of Xiling Calligraphy and Painting Institute, president of Japan China Development Calligraphy and Painting Association, vice president of China Celadon Culture Research Institute, vice president of China Famous Calligraphers and Painters Research Institute, and vice president of World Calligraphers and Painters Association Canada.

The Japanese painting and calligraphy circles established the "Chiang Kai shek Development Art Promotion Association" in Tokyo. A total of 65 individual exhibitions were held in first-class Japanese art museums, such as Sanyo, Isetan and Takashimaya. His works have been published in more than 50 news media and won awards. He won two gold medals in the "International Art Tour". In 1999, he won the Gold Award of the All Japanese Ink and Wash Art Festival, namely the Speaker of the House of Representatives Award (the highest award in the Japanese art world).

From 1985 to 2000, he held 9 personal exhibitions in China's National Academy of Painting and other places. Since 2012, China has held national tour exhibitions on celadon and traditional Chinese painting and plum blossom in various parts of the country. So far, 19 exhibitions have been successfully held.

Jiang Kaifa's porcelain paintings and various painting arts have been highly praised by peers and Tibetans. Many mainstream media and newspapers, such as CCTV, have carried out special reports on him for many times. Among them, CCTV's "Collect the World" program has produced three documentaries of about 25 minutes each. Zhejiang Satellite TV and Hangzhou TV Station carried out a 15 minute special report in the program "Walk Through Hangzhou". His works have appeared in large auction companies such as Poly and Hanhai for many times and have been concerned and collected by many collectors.

Jiang Kaifa's celadon painting was selected by the State Postal Administration, and has published a set of postal pamphlets and stamps. His published works include Jiang Kaifa's Landscape Painting Collection, Jiang Kaifa's Painting Collection, Jiang Kaifa's Painting Collection, Hometown Calligraphy and Painting, Jiang Kaifa's Doctoral Thesis Collection, Jiang Kaifa's Desk Essays, Jiang Kaifa's National Tour Exhibition Collection of Celadon Traditional Chinese Painting. In recent years, Xiling Engravers Society has successively published Jiang Kaifa's Celadon Traditional Chinese Painting, Jiang Kaifa's Painting Appreciation Collection of Plum Blossoms Jiang Kaifa's Appreciation of Traditional Chinese Painting Collection of Blue and White Porcelain Treasures, etc.

蒋开发,名犟牛，字逆流，祖籍绍兴，1961年生于杭州市。1997年，获日本国立琦玉大学艺术学院硕士学位，2008年，获中国美术学院中国画博士学位，其山水博导为卓鹤君教授，理论博导为任道斌教授。博士毕业创作《西溪烟霞》荣获一等奖。现为中国计量大学艺术学院教授，为中国美术学院成教院中国画特聘教师。

他6岁随父习画，9岁启蒙于金石巨匠钱瘦铁令侄西泠五老钱大礼先生，后拜中国美术学院教授、著名云水大师孔仲起先生为师，并受到中国美术学院肖峰、吴山明、童中焘、卢坤峰、周沧米、闵学林等教授的亲授和指点。

蒋开发博士，特聘为西泠书画院特聘高级画师、日中开发书道协会会长、中国青瓷文化研究院副院长、中国名家书画研究院副院长、世界书画家协会加拿大总会副会长等职。

日本书画界在在东京成立了“蒋开发艺术促进会”。先后在一流的日本美术馆如三越、伊势丹、高岛屋等共举办了65次个人展览。其作品在50多家新闻媒体上发表和获奖。曾在“国际艺术巡回展”中连获两枚“金牌” 。1999年，获全日本水墨画艺术大年展金奖，即众议员议长奖（是日本艺术界的最高奖项）。

1985年至2000年，他在国内中国国家画院等地举办过9次个人展览。2012年以来，在全国各地举办青瓷国画和梅花专题全国巡回展，迄今已成功举办了19次展览。

蒋开发的瓷画与诸门绘画艺术，得到同行和藏家们的一致好评。中央电视台等多家主流媒体和报纸对其多次进行了专题报道。其中央视《收藏天下》栏目制作了三部分别长达25分钟左右的纪录片。浙江卫视及杭州电视台在《走遍杭州》栏目中进行了15分钟的专题报道。其作品多次进入保利、瀚海等大型拍卖公司亮相，被众多藏家关注与收藏。

蒋开发的青瓷国画曾入选国家邮政总局，出版发行过邮政小全张和邮票各一套。其出版的作品集有《蒋开发山水画集》、《蒋开发画集》、《蒋开发绘画集》、《乡情书画》、《蒋开发博士论文集》、《蒋开发案头随笔》《蒋开发青瓷国画全国巡回展集》、近年来由西泠印社陆续出版了《蒋开发青瓷国画》、《蒋开发书画欣赏——梅花精品集》、《蒋开发国画雅赏——青花瓷珍品集》等。
